The Public Education and Conferences Section of Oregon OSHA will be offering four different workshops during the training sessions on October 16 and 17:

Job Hazard Analysis, 1:00pm October 16.

Effective Safety Supervision, 1:00pm October 17.

‘Accident Investigation' will teach participants what information to gather, how to secure an accident scene and conclusions to draw when an accident occurs at work. ‘Job Hazard Analysis' helps students to understand how to prioritize which hazards are corrected first and how to develop procedures to prevent hazards at work. ‘Safety & Health Management' is an introduction class for employers to learn about creating safe workplaces and planning ahead. ‘Effective Safety Supervision' gives supervisors a better understanding of safety responsibilities and how to implement OR-OSHA's "Rules for all Workplaces"

The workshops will be held at Blue Mountain Community College - Pioneer Hall Room 132, 2411 NW Carden in Pendleton. OR-OSHA provides workshop materials for participants.
