College Credits

Oregon OSHA has entered into a partnership with Mt. Hood Community College to issue college credits toward the Sustainability, Health and Safety degree program. Ten workshop hours equal one college credit. Credits may be obtained by contacting Dr. Javid Mohtasham, 503-491-7440. Mt. Hood Community College Website

Education Units

Oregon OSHA workshops can be used to obtain continuing education units (CEUs). Oregon OSHA has a cooperative agreement with several community colleges to issue the CEUs, records of which are maintained in the college database for your future transcript requests. Forms for CEUs are available at the workshops. The community college charges a recording fee. One hour of Oregon OSHA training equals 0.1 CEU. Acceptance of CEUs is at the discretion of each college. For more information on CEUs, please contact your local community college. www.oregon.gov/CCWD/Pages/ccdirectory.aspx
